I'm probably gonna get crucified for this, but I don't really want a second season of the show. I've kind of accepted that it ends with the failed escape. Although it'd be nice to know what happened to everyone, I'm still a bit afraid that it wouldn't go well. In a lot of shows, the first season is the strongest (Heroes & Prison Break, to name a few) and it goes downhill from there. I don't want that to happen to something that was as great as the Donnellys.

A movie might work. I think someone suggested a graphic novel, I think that would be cool. If, of course, the original writers were involved in the process.

It was setting up perfectly for the second season. Tommy would have ran into Nikki at the hospital (because he was being rushed there from the poison) and they would have struck up a conversation somehow. I think they would plan together to take out Dokey and then take over the neighborhood together. It's impossible for this show to get advanced any further; there is no way the actors/actresses will leave whatever they are doing now to make a repeat appearance on a show that has already been canceled once. A book would be cool, but I fell in love with the on screen presence of the characters and I would feel cheated. A movie would be awesome - if all the characters regained their roles (which would be very unlikely). I would also fear that it wouldn't continue with the story line, therefore leading to an unsatisfying ending.

The best thing I have been able to think of is to use my imagination and all of the clues in the show (such as Joey being in jail and the cops wanting the "other bodies") to fill in the the blanks. Personally, I want it to end with Tommy unloading a full clip in Dokey's head. It truly does make me sick that this show was canceled; and it makes me even sicker to know the garbage that replaced TBD.

First and foremost just a recent viewer of the show! Second ppl we need to get this info out there hello?? I've been online for 5 days til i found this site!!! we should try to contact the characters the actors and tell them how much we loved there roles and hey we want a TV show nothing less and if its on FX or HBO better cuz hello?? cuss words everytime I watch I expect to hear a bad word but nothing!! I want this show brought back soooooooooo bad !! Its the first time I ever fell in love with something like that PLZ dont give up!!! I gotta do something !

I think our next line of action is first to get as many people possible to come to this site and tell them to spread the word.

Yea I mean I looooooooooooove this show I mean wow how many shows still have this much hype after 3 years?? Come on ppl all we have to really do is work at it I know some producer somewhere would go for it but its up to us to get it to them!! And hey I hate to say but if we can't get original characters like Olivia Wilde back we'll just have to replace them sorry but I really need this show back !!!!!!!

Hey guys
I'm a bit new (from UK), currently own the BD's on dvd. I really enjoyed the show and if i'm honest, wasn't surprised that the networks decided to cancel it as it seems to be the norm-killing off great shows that is. SO far, the only show these days that's a bit similar in my opinion is the Sons of Anarchy, but I say bring back the Black Donnelly's anyday. I've since introduced all my friends this year to the BDs and they were asking me what happened next (i.e. after that awesomely crazy shoot out), totally loved all the characters, especially Joey Ice Cream-god, what a tosser!!
